Plum Creek Christian Church
"Fearless"
Do you keep God in a box all tied up with pretty ribbons only opened on rare occasions? Do you view God as your good-luck charm? Do you only think to pray when you are in dire straights? If this is your view of God then you really don't know him. All through history people have tried to put God in a neat little box and label him how they wanted him to be. The problem with that is they did not recognize him for who he was; he was and still is holy. When we understand who he is we begin to grasp how utterly big he is. He cannot be confined to any box! We cannot fathom how deep his love is for his creation. Are you living a life that only glorifies yourself? If you want to live a life that is full you need to forget about yourself and focus on the giver of life. In the words of A.W. Tozer, "If we would bring back spiritual power to our lives, we must begin to think of God more nearly as He is."
Are you ready to live a life that honors God? Visit with us this Sunday and get ready to get out of that box!
