Rushville Church of Christ
Delivery of Angel Food January menu is from 8 to 10 a.m. today. Orders will be taken for the February menu at the same time. Jerry Holdman’s sermon at the worship time Sunday will consider the Discipline of Service. Jesus is the example of what real service is like. Even though he was the Son of God, he gave of himself in order to seek, save and serve human beings. By doing that, he is the example for us to follow in carrying out his will.
Jr. Church and Wee Worship will meet at the same hour.
Sunday Bible classes will meet.
Youth meetings for first through sixth grades will be at 4 p.m. and at 5 p.m. for jr. and sr. high.
The Meals for Fellowship will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday. Everyone is welcome to share in this. The cost is donation.

"Fear of Disappointing God"
Are you under the impression that you have disappointed God so badly that He no longer wants anything to do with you? That is a lie that Satan certainly wants you to believe about yourself. The fact is God's grace is never ending. Grace is a free gift from God available to all who ask. "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith ... it is the gift of God.” Don't let your guilt deceive you into thinking you are too horrible to be loved and forgiven. We have all sinned and fallen short of what God wants for us. Listen to what the Bible says in 1 John 1:9 "If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from ALL unrighteousness." Let the Word of God fill your mind with the truth.
Visit with us this Sunday at Plum Creek as we look at our continuing series on living FEARLESS. We will be having prayer for all those affected by the earthquake in Haiti in the prayer room between services; all are welcome to come in and pray.
Changing Hearts
Revival, if you pray for it, it will come.
“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14
Have we as Christians grown used to the Lord just being there Do we just pray for material things or short term fixes.
Even the most dedicated Christians can back slide and need to pray more faithfully. We must pray for renewal of our spiritual lives and pray for God’s people to obey God.
Please pray with Pastor Layton and Changing Hearts for revival. Christians will have their faith renewed.
