Carthage Wesleyan Church
Our message Sunday was delivered by our senior pastor Charles Stroud. Pastor Stroud spoke of Jesus healing the 10 lepers and only one returned to give Jesus thanks for what he had done. The pastor spoke of the many blessings in our lives and of all the many things we have to be thankful for including our families, our churches and our freedom to worship the Lord.
We were blessed with a special song from Huston Spence who sang "Thank You Lord for Your Blessing on Me."
We enjoyed a nice time of fellowship and thanksgiving after our service during our annual Thanksgiving pitch-in dinner.
We here at the Carthage Wesleyan Church want to invite everyone to come worship with us. Here at Carthage Wesleyan Church you are only a stranger once.

Living A Life That Counts – "Tithes, Offering, and Thieves"
To help us understand what God says about giving look at the Old Testament book of Malachi. The prophet Malachi came to deliver God's message to the Israelites.
They were once again insulting God. The Israelites were keeping the best of what they had for themselves instead of giving a portion back to God's temple. Malachi 3:8 tells us God asked them, "Will a man rob God?"
Like the Israelites we too can become selfish with our money. The sad truth is we are not only cheating God but also ourselves. The fact is when we give first to God, He will pour out so much blessing that you will not have enough room for it. (Malachi 3:10)
What are you offering God? Is it the first of what you have, the last, or nothing at all? Henry Crowell, founder of Quaker Oats Company, said it best, "I have never gotten ahead of God. He always has been ahead of me in giving."
We invite you to PCCC this Sunday for an in-depth look at what the Bible has to say about living a life that counts.
