RUSHVILLE — Ray's Crossing Christian Union Church

Ray's Crossing Christian Union Church Men's Fellowship sponsored Chili Supper will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Menu includes chili and crackers, grilled cheese or peanut butter sandwich, veggie sticks, drink (coffee, tea, and lemonade) and dessert. Free love offering accepted.



First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church is hosting a free showing of the movie, " Courageous," at 7 p.m. Saturday. It is a free event and there will be free snacks halfway through the movie. Everyone is invited.



Rushville Church of Christ

Sunday

Coffee and refreshments at 8:45 a.m.

Special Music will be brought by Yvonne Holiday for the 9:25 a.m. Worship Service. Jerry's sermon will be on Psalm 51. This is the great song-prayer made by King David following his sins of adultery and murder that he tried to cover up. He poured out the grief in his heart to God, and left important lessons for us.

Children's Church will meet the same hour, and Cheryl Oakes is the leader.

Sunday Morning Bible Classes for all ages will meet at 10:50 a.m.

We will have Sunday Evening Classes for all ages at 6 p.m. Ê

Children and Youth will be led by James and Larissa Buhler and Jeff Eckerle; adults will be led by Don Heller in a Bob Russell multi-media series on Genesis 1-9 for several Sunday evenings. The public is invited to attend.

Wednesday

Pre-Easter Bible Studies at 7 p.m. each Wednesday for six weeks. The series will be about, "Friends of Jesus during His Passion week." Lesson 1 will consider Mary and Martha.

Thursday

12 Step group meets at 7 p.m.

Spring Musical practice at 7 p.m.

Feb. 24

Movie, "Courageous" will be shown in the Church Building at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be served. The public is welcome to see this timely film with a great theme.
