RUSHVILLE — The alumni of Rushville High School and Rushville Consolidated High School came together to celebrate their 54th annual association meeting during the summer. The awards for $1,000 scholarships were presented by David Payne ‘83. Recipients included: Emily Wright, daughter of Richard and Sandy Wright, is attending Purdue University for Engineering; Kaylee Yager, daughter of Richard and Lorri Yager, is attending the University of Evansville for Exercise Science/Physical Therapy; and Michaela Cloud, daughter of Ryan and Georga Cloud, is attending Ball State for Public Relations.

The RCHS Class of 1983 is planning their 30 year class reunion for this summer. The event will take place starting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Knights of Columbus.

Kindergarten class hears guest book reader
Marlene Fudge, Rush County Farm Bureau women’s leader, read the book “A to Z Corn” to Mrs. Angle’s Kindergarten class and presented the book to the classroom. Mrs. Fudge also made a snack for each student out of different kinds of corn cereal.
