Gift giving . . . solved!

RUSHVILLE — Christmas is just around the corner and many of you are already asking, “What can I give my favorite teacher or school secretary?” After all you can use only so many coffee mugs or Christmas ornaments . . right? So, why not Honor An educator!

When you Honor An Educator you can say Thank You to the persons who: Teach your children, coach your team(s), navigate the school bus, prepare lunch, counsels your children, clean your school, is your school secretary and are your administrators and nurses. All of these people make a real difference in the life of your child and make the education process a wonderful experience here in Rush County. In so many ways they are the foundation that builds the legacy for each and every child.

Your gift of $10 or more can be made by check payable to the Rush County Community Foundation (note that your gift is for the Legacy Fund). Please enclose a note indicating who you are honoring and include a brief message if you’d like. Then, mail your gift to Rush County Schools at 330 W. 8th Street, Rushville, IN 46173. Cash is also accepted at the Rush County Community Foundation or Legacy Fund office (Rushville Elementary School East and at the central offices). Please keep in mind your gift is tax deductible. Once your gift is received we will inform the recipient(s) that they are an Honored Educator with a special card (Honor An Educator donors may remain anonymous.)

Thank you for helping us “Provide excellence in education as we prepare tomorrow’s leaders” through the Legacy Fund at Rush County Schools. And, thank you for helping us say Merry Christmas in a special way.
