RUSHVILLE —
The Hoosier Tree Dog Alliance (HTDA) will once again bring a day of outdoor experience and learning to the area for local youth. The youth program, known as the Hoosier Outdoor Adventure Expo, will be at the Rush County Conservation Club at 9 a.m. July 30.
The program reaches to locations around the state for individuals interested in outdoor sports. For those that have not been involved in outdoor sports in the past, the HTDA hopes these expos will introduce new activities for potential sportsmen and sportswomen.
Another Hoosier Outdoor Adventure Expo will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 9 at the Farmland Conservation Club located at 1464 N. 500 W. in Winchester.
Admission to these Expos are free and the entire family is invited to take part in the fun. Individuals can learn about hunting, fishing, archery and trapping. The Expos will also have working squirrel, bird and coon dogs.
At the Rush County Conservation Club on July 30, the Rush County Coonhunters will be offering free hotdogs and drinks and there will be wild game to try.
