CROSS COUNTRY
The BRMS cross country teams competed in the Greenfield Invitational and the Cubs won the team title with 27 points. Rushville's Evan Dyer won the race with a time of 10:43.
VOLLEYBALL
The Lady Cubs eighth-grade volleyball team defeated Morristown 25-13, 25-11.

- Lady Patriots top Lady Lions Host Union County knocked off Rushville in volleyball action Tuesday in three games.
- Wildcats edge Lions, 3-2 Rushville traveled to Franklin County to face a possible sectional opponent in the Wildcats. Franklin County edged the Lions 3-2 in the varsity match.

- Harriers open season at Classic The cross country season kicked off Saturday with the annual running of the Rushville Classic.
- Lady Tigers win HHC golf title Fall Creek golf course was the host for the Hoosier Heritage Conference golf tournament Saturday. Yorktown swept top honors with the individual medalist of 73 and team score of 330.
- No. 8 Lady Eagles sweep Lady Lions Class 3A No. 8 Delta defeated the visiting Lady Lions 25-15, 25-14, 25-18 in girls varsity volleyball action Thursday.
- Lions rally to post road win at Howe After falling behind 22-11 early in the second half, the Lions rallied to improve to 2-0 on the season with a 38-22 victory over host Indianapolis Howe in Week 2 of the high school football season.
- Lady Lions shut out by Lady Arabians A strong Pendleton Heights girls soccer team posted a 10-0 Hoosier Heritage Conference victory over host Rushville Thursday.
