    CONNERSVILLE – Freshman Shelbie Brown blasted a grand slam to help the Lady Lions rally past Connersville 9-8 Wednesday. The Lady Lions improve to 8-10 on the year.

  • Tennis team fall to HHC foe Yorktown

    YORKTOWN – The Lady Lion tennis team traveled to Yorktown to take on the Lady Tigers. The host squad knocked off the Lady Lions 5-0 in varsity action. Rushville is 4-12 overall and 0-7 in the HHC.

    The Cougars of Greenfield-Central rallied in the opener of the doubleheader against Rushville and then cruised to a win in the second game to sweep the HHC double-dip Friday.

  • Marauders knock off Lions at Antler Pointe

    Visiting Mt. Vernon (Fortville) defeated Rushville 176-193 in golf action on the back nine at Antler Pointe.
    Rushville is now 3-7 in varsity action.

  • Lady Arabians win HHC track title

    Mt. Vernon was the host for the girls track HHC meet Tuesday. Pendleton Heights took top team honors with 133 points, edging the Lady Cougars of Greenfield-Central with 131.5. Mt. Vernon was third with 99.5 followed by Shelbyville 69, Delta 56.5, Yorktown 51.5, New Palestine 49 and Rushville 31.

  • Hoeing tosses no-hitter

    On a special night for Taylor Hoeing, the Lady Lion pitcher capped the day by tossing a no-hitter against Franklin County. Hoeing, the lone senior, was honored prior to the game on Senior Night and then she went to work on the Lady Wildcats – tossing seven innings with no hits, no runs and 10 strikeouts in the 1-0 victory.

    The Lady Lions played host to Richmond at the Richard Bradley Tennis Center. The Lady Red Devils defeated the Lady Lions 5-0 in varsity action. Rushville is now 4-10 on the season.
