Sara Luci Brown and Dylan Douglas Osborne were united in marriage July 31, 2010. The double ring ceremony was held at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Father Bill Turner officiating. The bride is the daughter of Miles and Kim Brown of Rushville. The bride’s grandmother, Dru Cox of Metamora, was in attendance. The groom is the son of Doug and Rosie Osborne of Rushville. The groom’s grandparents, Bob and Ruby Osborne of Rushville, and grandmother, Martha Todd of Rushville, were also in attendance. The Matron of Honor was T.J. Gregory of Tennessee, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jena Barnard, friend of the bride, Shelbyville; Jasmine Osborne, sister of the groom, Indianapolis; Georgia Osborne, sister of the groom, Rushville; and Hilary, Taylor and Bailey Vukovits, cousins of the bride, all from Rockville. The flower girl was Brittany Mahan, daughter of Brad and Sarah Mahan of Milroy, friend of the bride and groom. The Best Man was Brad Mahan of Milroy, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Banner Morgan, Milroy, friend of the groom; Andy Curtis, Rushville, cousin of the groom; Andrew Bedel, Rushville, friend of the groom; and Tim Aker, Rushville, friend of the groom. The ring bearer was Nathan Cox, Arcadia, cousin of the bride. The organist was Cindy Powers, Rushville. Vocalist was Annette Niehoff, Rushville. Julie Sheehan, Rushville, friend of the groom, and Marc Fooksman, Ohio, uncle of the groom, provided readings from the scripture. Registering guests and passing out programs were Madison Vaughn of North Carolina and Maria Geise of Rushville, both cousins of the bride. The bride chose a white, strapless, beaded all lace A-line gown with a chapel length train. She also chose two veils, a plain chapel length veil and a short pearl and beaded-edged veil. The bride chose a Swarovski crystal tiara with pearls and beads to accent the veils. The bride’s jewelry was a diamond bracelet, gift from the groom, and a pair of diamond earrings, borrowed from the bride’s aunt. The bride’s flowers were created by Vogel’s Florist and consisted of Sorbonne lilies and unopened lily pods, white roses, white stephanotis and greenery, white dendrobium orchids and the stem was wrapped with her great-grandmother’s handkerchief. A reception followed the ceremony and was catered by Sam and Maria Trebley. The rehearsal dinner was held at the home of Doug and Rosie Osborne where the tables were decorated with quilts and mason jars filled with memorabilia from the bride and groom’s childhood. Everyone enjoyed the evening reminiscing about the couple. Prior to the wedding, the bride was honored with two showers. One shower was given by the bride’s Aunt Robin and cousins, Hilary, Taylor and Bailey Vukovits at The Hermitage in Brookville and the other was given by the groom’s sisters, Jasmine and Georgia Osborne, at the home of Doug and Rosie Osborne. The couple is planning a wedding trip in the spring of 2011. The couple now resides at 661 W. 200 S., Rushville.
