RUSHVILLE —
Heather Renae Meek and Michael Edmund Pease were married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at the Meek Family Farm with Jeff Edwards, cousin of the bride, officiating.
Heather Renae Meek is the daughter of Eugene and Debbie Meek of Rush County.
Michael Edmund Pease is the son of Richard and Carol Pease of Bloomington.
The double ring ceremony included guitarist Jon Pickett, a friend of the couple, and vocalist Amy Johnson.
The bride’s Alfred Angelo chiffon dress featured embroidered metallic rhinestone and pearl accents and a chapel train with corseted back in ivory. The veil was constructed from the bride’s mother’s veil. The bride’s flowers were an ivory mix and wildflowers in shades of purple. She wore a crystal and rhinestone headband and crystal earrings and bracelet.
Maid of honor was Lauren Howard of Indianapolis, a friend of the couple.
Bridesmaids were Amy Johnson of Indianapolis, a friend of the couple; Erin Meek of Indianapolis, sister-in-law of the bride; Brittany Meek of Rush County, sister-in-law of the bride; and Megan Pease of San Francisco, Calif., sister of the groom.
Best man was Tim Merry of Martinsville, a friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were Trent Ramsey of Bloomington, a friend of the groom; Eric Meek of Indianapolis, brother of the bride; and Randy Meek of Rush County, brother of the bride.
Ring bearers were Will Meek and Madden Meek, nephews of the bride.
Best dog was Olin Pease, the groom’s dog.
Sue Edwards, grandmother of the bride, attended.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Montgomery’s Steakhouse.
The bride graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School, received her bachelors degree from Franklin College and her masters from the I.U. Center on Philanthropy.
The groom graduated from Edgewood High School, received his bachelors degree from Indiana State University and his masters from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Their wedding trip was to St. Martin in the Caribbean.
The couple now resides in Indianapolis.
