RUSHVILLE —
Lana Briscoe and Drew Rankin were married in a double ring ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 5, 2011 at the First Southern Baptist Church, Rushville.
The bride is the daughter of Charles Briscoe of Glenwood and Eileen and George Proffitt of Arlington. Grandparents of the bride are Don and Helen Heller.
The groom is the son of Kevin Rankin and Aimee Herbert of Rushville and Lucy and Tim Manis of Lafayette.
Don Heller, grandfather of the bride, and Pastor Jeff Edwards officiated.
Bridesmaids were: Amanda Briscoe, sister of the bride, Connersville; Miranda Briscoe, sister of the bride, Noblesville; Ashlyn Wright, friend of the couple, Rushville; Brooke Newman, friend of the couple, Jacksonville, N.C.
Best man was Eddie Moore, friend of the couple, Mays.
Groomsmen were: Samuel Wade, friend of the couple, Indianapolis; Brady Wright, friend of the couple, Rushville; and Brady Harris, friend of the couple, Lewisville.
Flower girl was Camille Curry, niece of the bride, Noblesville.
Ring bearer was Carter Barnes, friend of the couple, Rushville.
Ushers were Jameson Dykes, nephew of the bride, Connersville; and Trenten Herbert, brother of the groom, Rushville.
Guest book attendants were Cami Herbert, sister of the groom, Rushville; and Jolie Medel, niece of the groom, Brownsville, Texas.
The couple was greeted leaving the church with a send off of white balloons.
The couple was chauffeured to the reception at Caldwell Pioneer Acres in Rushville in a 1929 Model A car provided by Joe Hoffman. The meal was catered by FazoliÕs Italian Restaurant.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by George Proffitt at Pizza Hut.
The bride is employed at Major Family Medicine in Shelbyville.
The groom is employed at J.A. Fire Protection in Fairland.
They will reside in Rushville.
