Sandra Lynn Ruf and Daniel Lee Leising were united in marriage June 12, 2010. The double ring ceremony was held at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rushville with Father Bill Turner officiating. The bride is the daughter of Donald and Angela Ruf of Milroy. The bride’s grandmother, Alice Kaiser, was in attendance. The groom is the son of Marvin and Linda Leising of Milroy. The groom’s grandmother, Martha Blankman, also was in attendance. The Matron of Honor was Katrina Lee of Rushville, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jan Willhelm of Connersville, friend of the couple; Tonya Ruf of Milroy, sister-in-law of the bride; and Melinda Kulpinski of Greensburg, sister of the groom. The best man was Mike Leising of Milroy, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Kevin Leising of Rushville, brother of the groom; Sam Ruf of Milroy, brother of the bride; and Steven Ruf of Rushville, brother of the bride. The ringbearer was Daniel Kulpinski of Greensburg, nephew of the groom. Flower girl was Emma Ruf of Connersville, cousin of the bride. The organist was Bryce Ruf of Connersville, cousin of the bride. Vocalist was Brianne Leising of Connersville, cousin of the groom. Allison Kaiser, cousin of the bride, registered guests. Stephen and Michael Kulpinski of Greensburg, nephews of the groom, passed out programs. The bride wore an ivory satin gown featuring ruching on the sweetheart bodice in a delicate chiffon accented with crystal and soft blue beading. The left side pleats of the gown cascaded to a full skirt and cathedral train, also accented with crystal and soft blue beading. She wore a rhinestone tiara in her hair. The bride’s jewelry was a diamond cross necklace, a gift from the groom. Her bouquet was ivory roses adorned with ivy, teal babies breath and crystal beading. A reception followed the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Rushville. Reception servers were Gretchen Smith and Michelle Gettinger. Cake servers were Becca Ruf and Andrea Ruf. The rehearsal dinner was served at Dutch Mill Buffet in Milroy. The bride is a 1998 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and a 1998 graduate of Connersville Area Vocational School. She works in the dietary department at Rush Memorial Hospital. The groom is a 1999 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and a 2001 graduate of The University of Northwestern Ohio with an associate degree in mechanics. He is a technician at Smith Implements in Rushville. The couple is planning a wedding trip this fall. They will reside in Rushville.
