Rachel Marie Noble and Daniel Lee Weddle were married at 3:30 p.m. May 16, 2009 at Arlington Christian Church by Bro. Robert Brock.
Organist for the double ring, private ceremony was Christopher Gordon, cousin of the bride.
The bride wore a white satin, A line strapless gown with an overlay skirt of side gathers. A capri blue sash was around her waist and tied in a back bow. She wore a tiara and diamond necklace, a gift from the groom; earrings from her paternal grandmother. Her bouquet was white peonies, hot pink tulips, lavender sweet peas, and blue thistle; white lace gloves from her maternal great-grandmother Della Orme were tucked into the bouquet.
Rebekah Noble of Homer, bride’s sister, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacey Berkemeier, Rushville, bride’s friend and Laura Barnes, New Palestine, groom’s sister. Flower girls were Eliza Crawley and Mallory Barnes, nieces of the groom.
Kevan Crawley of Greenwood, brother of groom, was best man. Groom’s attendants were Adam Weddle, Knightstown, groom’s brother and Justin Cole, Knightstown, friend of the couple. Ronnie Weddle, Knightstown, groom’s brother, was usher.
Guests were registered by Christy Futch and Lisa Taylor, coworkers of bride.
Grandparent attending was Rosemarie Gordon, bride’s maternal grandmother. Unable to attend were Earl and Francis Noble, bride’s paternal grandparents.
The reception was a sit-down dinner served by the staff at The Maxim in Shelbyville. Cakes and mints were made by Sue Netherly of Rushville. Flowers were arranged by The Ivy Wreath on Knightstown.
The rehearsal dinner was catered by Beverly Roberts and Zoe Palmer, groom’s aunt and cousin.
The daughter of Ron and Marsha Noble of Homer, the bride graduated from Rushville Consolidated High School in 1999 and received an AS degree in Office Administration from Ivy Tech in 2001. She is employed by Clarian Health Partners in Indianapolis.
The son of Ron and Cindy Weddle of Homer, the groom graduated from Charles A. Beard High School in Knightstown and in 2000 studied Culinary Arts at Ivy Tech. He is employed by Raytheon Technical Services of Indianapolis.
The couple now reside in Morristown.
