Brittany Nichole Hoeing and Anthony Stewart Bowers were united in marriage at 2:30 p.m. May 30, 2009 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Father William Turner officiating.
Organist was Cindy Powers of Rushville, friend of the couple. Vocalist was Annette Niehoff of Rushville, friend of the couple.
The bride wore an A line strapless gown with a fully beaded, fitted bodice. The waist length veil was topped with a diamond hair piece that was worn by her sister at her wedding. The bride’s bouquet consisted of watermelon and canary yellow roses, Gerber daisies and her Grandma Hoeing’s rosary. She also wore her grandma’s diamond ring.
Maid of honor was Alisa Henderson of Chicago, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Mandy Reisman of Greensburg, bride’s sister; Courtney Hoeing of Rushville, bride’s sister; Lindsey Mulholland of Noblesville, bride’s friend; Jessica Burch of Greenfield, bride’s friend. Flower girls were Paige Reisman, niece and goddaughter of the bride and Olivia Reisman, bride’s niece, both from Greensburg.
Best man was Pete Wilson of Terre Haute, friend of the groom. Groom’s attendants were Ryan Bowers of Lafayette, groom’s brother; Scott Bowers of Terre Haute, groom’s brother; Nate Bowers of Lafayette, groom’s cousin and Brian Reisman of Greensburg, bride’s brother-in-law. Ushers were Scott Bowers of Terre Haute, groom’s brother and Brandon Lindauer of Terre Haute, groom’s friend.
Readings were by Lori Hoeing of Rushville, godmother and aunt of the bride. Servers for the ceremony were Denise Amos and Mary Kate Amos of Rushville, bride’s friends.
Guests were registered by Heather Wilson of Terre Haute, couple’s friend and Pam Wicker of Chicago, bride’s friend.
The reception was at the Root building in Rushville and was catered by Lori Hoeing. The cake was made by Cakes by Cathy from Shelbyville. Cake servers were Pam Wicker of Chicago, bride’s friend; Heather Wilson of Terre Haute, couple’s friend; Audrey Russell of Santa Claus, bride’s friend; Chastity Davidson of Shelbyville, bride’s friend.
Grandparents attending were Viola Weigle, Eldon Bowers, Wilbur and Myrna Hoeing, Lloyd and Shirley Herbert.
The daughter of Don and Maryalice Hoeing of Rushville, the bride is a graduate of Ivy Tech State College in Terre Haute with a degree in Surgical Technology. She currently is employed as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the Surgery Department at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.
The son of Larry and Glenna Bowers of Lafayette, the groom is a graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management. He currently is employed as a Production Technician at Pioneer in Rushville.
After a honeymoon in Liberia, Costa Rica, the couple now resides in Shelbyville.
