Alison Reynolds and Eric Gates were united in marriage Sept. 25, 2010. The double ring ceremony was held at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church in Rushville with Father William Turner officiating. The bride is the daughter of Bob Reynolds and Jane Oakley, both of Connersville. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Bob Reynolds. The groom is the son of Bill and Mindy Gates of Rushville. The Maid of Honor was Kate Reynolds, sister of the bride, Charlottesville, Va. Bridesmaids were Krista Foreman, sister of the groom, Falmouth, and Claire Blakley, cousin of the bride, Indianapolis. The Flower Girl was Madison Foreman, niece of the groom, Falmouth. The Best Man was Casey Jarboe, friend of the groom, Connersville. Groomsmen were Kent Stainbrook, friend of the groom, Greensburg, and Brian Brown, cousin of the bride, Connersville. The Ring Bearer was Justin Foreman, nephew of the groom, Falmouth. Ushers were Henry Burks, friend of the groom, Indianapolis, and Josh Garrison, cousin of the bride, Dayton, Ohio. Guest Register and Programs were done by Kristin Malone, friend of the bride, Overland Park, Kansas, and Elisabeth Garrison, cousin of the bride, Connersville. Organist was Chris Schroeder of Indianapolis Scripture Readings were given by Haylee Cavins, friend of the bride, Connersville; Laura Marszalek, cousin of the groom, Rushville; Lisa Jarboe, friend of the bride and groom, Connersville. The bride’s gown was an ivory, strapless, A-line gown with a dropped waist, beaded bodice and a chapel length train. The bride’s veil was an ivory, double layer, fingertip length veil with a beaded edge. Her jewelry was a Trifari crystal filigree bracelet and Swarovski crystal drop earrings. The flowers were created by Rieman’s Flower Shop in Connersville and included yellow and fuschia gerbera daisies, pale pink and pale yellow roses, orange lilies and unopened lily pods, and green hydrangeas. The rehearsal dinner was catered by Peggy Cooper at her home in Rushville. The reception was held at the Willowbrook Country Club in Connersville with Hometown Deli and Catering of Richmond serving. The reception DJ was Brad Smith of Connersville. Photography was by Nantz Photography of New Castle. The bride is a 2000 graduate of Connersville High School. She graduated in 2005 from Indiana University East with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. The bride is Associate Administrator of Fayette Regional Health System in Connersville. The groom is a 2001 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School. He is a 2008 graduate of the IEJATC and also earned an Associate’s Degree from Ivy Tech State College. The groom is a Journeyman Wireman through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 481 in Indianapolis. The couple spent their honeymoon in Aruba. They will live at 1317 W. Country Club Road, Connersville.
