wedding: Mr. and Mrs. Matthew and Jennifer Jones Jennifer Leigh Johnson and Matthew Jordan Jones were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. July 24, 2010, at the Community Church of Greensburg with Pastor Barry Morton officiating. The bride is the daughter of Steve and Pam Johnson of Milroy and the groom is the son of Linda Jones of Greensburg and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Jones of Batesville. Grandparents attending included Tom Johnson and Behuluah Jones. The Maid of Honor was Melinda Dora. Bridesmaids were Jenni Johnson (sister-in-law of the bride), Beth Buzzard, Kirby Ging and Nicole Rothstein (friends of the bride), Bethany Bushhorn (sister of the groom) and Ellie Johnson (niece of the bride). The flower girl was Olivia Dora (cousin of the bride). The Best Man was Shawn Moore. Groomsmen were Jared Jones, Dan Jones, Micah Jones, Stephen Jones (brothers of the groom), and Ryan Johnson (brother of the bride). The junior groomsman was Mason Jones (nephew of the groom). The ring bearer was Brayden Jones (nephew of the groom). Ushers were Bryce Cook (cousin of the bride/friend of the groom), Paul Stone, Brett McCoy, Kyle Robbins and Phil Bennett (friends of the groom). Guest registrant was Donetta Fields (friend of the bride). Program attendant was Sam Jones (brother of the groom). Ceremony coordinator was Mary Ann Miller (friend of the couple). The bride wore a strapless, full length ballgown of organza over taffeta. Her bridal gown featured a sweetheart neckline, with fitted bodice,and full sweeping skirt with chapel length train. Beautiful embroidery with crystals and pearls adorned the entire dress. The bride also chose a crystal headpiece and veil edged with crystals and pearls. She wore a pearl and crystal necklace and earrings. She carried a full bouquet of white roses and an embroidered handkerchief with her Great Grandmother Parker's heart pendant attached. A reception dinner and dance followed at the Root Building in Rushville. The dinner was catered by J and D Custom Meats from Rushville. The rehearsal dinner was hosted the night before the wedding by Marvin and Tammie Jones in Batesville at their home. The bride is a 2002 graduate of Rushville Consolidated High School and a 2006 graduate of Indiana University. She is a staffing manager of Employment Plus in Shelbyville. The groom is a 2002 graduate of North Decatur High School and a 2009 graduate of IEJATC as an inside journeyman wireman and earned an Associate’s degree from Ivy Tech. After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple now resides in Rushville.Weddings
