l Only kindergarten students attend school Aug. 10.

l Manilla Fire Station Fish Fry from 4 to 9 p.m. Unstable Faultline Country Band plays 7 to 9 p.m. Giving away a whole hog and have of angus beef with processing included. l 2012 Area 9 Agency Senior Art Competition for ages 60 and over runs Aug. 15 to Sept. 21 at Indiana University East Meijer Artway with open judging Aug. 10.

Man St. The "Together We Can" 2-mile-walk will follow with participants walking a two-mile loop through Rushville before returning to the RMH campus. On-site health fair from 10 a.m. to noon.     l St. Mary Catholic School annual Green and White Gala.  The Gala is an opportunity to celebrate St. Mary School. Guest speaker will be John Green (SMS 1990 graduate), the son of Daniel and the late Elizabeth “Betty” Green. All are welcome to attend.
