l The Farmer's Market begins at 9 a.m. on Saturdays, and ends around Oct. 6. Located on East Third Street in downtown Rushville, the hours are from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The market consists of homegrown produce and plants, craft vendors baked goods and more.

l The Rush County Chorale will present two performances of American music on Sunday, July 15 at the Laughlin Center for the Performing Arts. Performance times are 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 and are available from Chorale members or at the door on the day of the performances.
l The Danny E. and Barbara J. Gettinger and Family Day at Stagg's Restaurant
and Dairy Treats. A portion of sales from this day will go to the Danny E. and Barbara J. Gettinger and Family Scholarship Fund at the Rush County Community Foundation. This fund provides scholarships to graduates of RCHS who are studying the field of agriculture at a 2 or 4 year college, university, vocational school or ag short course. Please come and visit with the Gettinger Family and enjoy great food! Donations will also be accepted.

l Relay for Life of Rush County from 6 p.m. July 20 to 6 p.m. July 21, Memorial Park. This year's theme is Stars, Stripes, Relay as we honor our Veterans and raise funds for all the programs and research the American Cancer Society supports. Information: 765-969-8282.
SATURDAY (7/21)
l Carthage Volunteer Fire Department fourth annual Community Day beginning at 3 p.m. The free event will have activities for all ages and include an evening fireworks display. l The cast of "The Best of Broadway" will be holding another benefit car wash from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Free-will donations will be accepted at that time. There will be a DJ on site and snacks and drinks will be available.
l Children's Day at the Gowdy House Museum, 619 N. Perkins, is from 1-3 p.m. Children's activities are planned and the museum and carriage house will be open for tours. There is no charge for this event.
l Farm Credits Annual Dance, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Knights of Columbus. Tickets $10 at the door with proceeds benefiting cancer research.
l Bentonville School 11th Reunion at the Bentonville Firehouse. Anyone who attended classes at Bentonville at any time, or anyone interested in the community are welcome to attend. The firehouse will be open at 2 p.m. for social time, cookies and drinks. At 4:30 p.m. there will be a free
will offering buffet followed by a short business meeting and program. Everyone is encouraged to bring pictures, plates, t-shirts or other items
to be displayed. There will be a silent auction for donated items with

l The Lora Brook Hatfield Day at Stagg's Restaurant and Dairy Treats. l Ivy Tech Community College Richmond will offer Admissions Information Sessions at local libraries across its five county region. Information will be available at the Rushville Public Library from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 25.
During these free information sessions, Stephanie Hill Alexander will answer questions about degree programs, financial aid, support services and getting started for fall semester.
